instead of wanting to stop your tears,
is there to see each one fall and not let you be filled with fears.

Seldom is it that you have a friend who,
instead of helping you justify your fears,
calls out of you the vision of courage you want to attain,
and the one she knows you can achieve.

Seldom is it that you have a friend who,
instead of getting tired of your mind not being clear,
from your fog lifts you up in prayer with the faith of a saint,
and interceeds for you until the anxiety goes away.

Seldom is it that you have a friend who,
no matter if she has heard the joke, knows the story,
and can tell it better than you,
she will laugh along with you with a sincere heart.

Seldom is that you have a friend whose
joy is in the innocent moments of happiness
our Heavenly Father gives to His children
on this side of the big family reunion.
